Derya Arms has introduced the OBone, the company’s first suppressor and the first product in a rimfire and centerfire suppressor line the company says it intends to expand. Designed and manufactured at Derya’s Jacksonville, Florida, factory, the OBone is a .22 LR suppressor rated for full-automatic fire in .22 LR and for semi-automatic fire in .17 HMR and .22 WMR.
The OBone carries a USA MSRP of $199. At 5.25 inches long and 3.99 ounces, it pairs a stack of eight identical aluminum baffles with a serialized steel mount, and it can be taken apart by hand for cleaning without a proprietary tool.
Derya’s lineup already includes shotguns, pistols and rimfire rifles. The OBone marks the company’s first step into suppressors, and Derya chose a rimfire can to start.
“OBone is our first in suppressors. We will be adding suppressors as we go along,” said Dustin Jones, Vice President of Derya Arms. “We started with rimfire because that is the can most people will actually shoot — light enough that the host still handles, simple enough to clean on the tailgate, and built here in Jacksonville.”
The OBone threads directly onto pistols and rifles cut 1/2”-28, including Derya’s threaded TM22 Feather, Flash, Metal and Lever rifles. GunBroker previously covered one of those hosts in Derya Arms Launches TM22 Flash.

Inside the black-anodized 7075-T6 aluminum tube, the OBone uses eight identical 7075-T6 aluminum baffles. Because every baffle is the same, the stack can go back together in any order. Nothing is numbered, and nothing has to be indexed.
The serialized component is a screw-on 4140 steel mount with a black nitride finish, threaded 1/2”-28. That puts the threads in steel while the wear parts stay aluminum. Derya lists no minimum barrel length, so the OBone can be used on both pistols and rifles. For more on direct-thread mounts and caliber sizing, see Your First Suppressor Part 2: Caliber Size & Mounting Systems.
Its caliber ratings are worth noting. The OBone is rated for full-automatic fire in .22 LR, while .17 HMR and .22 WMR use is limited to semi-automatic fire. GunBroker’s Your First Suppressor Part 4: Caliber Ratings & What They Mean explains how ratings like these work.
In representative .22 LR testing, the OBone metered at 112 dB. Derya notes that results vary with host, barrel length, ammunition, temperature and metering method. Ammunition choice is one variable owners can control; GunBroker covered one suppressor-focused rimfire load in CCI Releases Suppressor Max 22 LR and Uppercut 22 WMR.
Rimfire ammunition is known for leaving lead and carbon fouling, so serviceability matters on a .22 suppressor. Derya says the OBone is user serviceable by hand when maintained, with no proprietary wrench required.
The front cap, tube, baffle stack and mount separate for cleaning. According to Derya, rimfire lead and carbon can be soaked and brushed with an aluminum-safe cleaner before the suppressor is reassembled.
Derya also cautions that lead and carbon buildup can lock the front cap. The company advises against clamping the tube or cap in a vise or pliers. Full service instructions are included in the owner’s manual.
Each OBone ships in its own padded Derya handgun case. The zippered case features twin carry handles and a front pocket and carries a $29.99 MSRP when sold separately.
An English/Spanish owner’s manual is packed inside, and the OBone is backed by Derya’s Limited Lifetime Warranty.
The OBone gives Derya Arms its first entry in the suppressor category. Its design focuses on low weight, a simple baffle stack that does not need indexing, and hand disassembly for routine cleaning.
With a $199 MSRP, a steel 1/2”-28 mount and no minimum barrel length, it is aimed at the rimfire pistols and rifles that make up much of everyday recreational shooting, including Derya’s own TM22 rifles.
Suppressors remain regulated under the National Firearms Act, and state and local laws vary. Buyers should confirm the requirements that apply to them before purchasing. GunBroker’s How to Buy a Suppressor guide walks through the process.
